With my left knee strapped up, John and I jogged at an extremely comfortable pace, as my knee would not have been capable of going much faster. I also ran on grass wherever I could to soften the impact.
The upside was that we both could easily chat all the way around the Park Loop course and we really didn't mind too much when a lorry reversed directly in front of us, completely blocking our path. We lost quite a bit of time there, but then again, it certainly was not that kind of run.
Afterwards, in the changing room, when I removed my knee support, I knew that my knee had been put to work. Ralgex and an afternoon sitting at my desk would appeared to have helped. I think it's probably very wise to give my knee a rest for a few days in order to allow it to mend properly.
