New Brighton 2 - 1 Poulton Victoria
I refereed the West Cheshire fixture between New Brighton and Poulton Victoria. New Brighton score twice and Poulton Victoria replied with what was in the end a consolation goal. All of the goals were scored in the very first half.
The New Brighton ground is not too far (at all) from the finish line of the Wirral Seaside Run.
