Well, my trainers were still soaking wet from yesterday's very wet run with John. So, I was forced to use my old trainer's instead.
It was so obvious to me from the start of my run why these old trainers had been responsible for my knee injury. There simply was no longer any shock absorption left in them. I had not realised until I had swapped out my new pair for these old pair of running shoes.
The above considered, I decided to jog rather than run and also decided to only run the 2 mile course - it is not worth causing unnecessary knee injuries again!
