Played on Saturday 30th December 2006, kicking off at 3pm at Gigg Lane (Bury FC's ground).
Despite Newcastle Town taking a 12 minute lead with an excellent goal, FC United quickly came back to equalise with two minutes then struck home another three goals before half time to make the score 4 - 1.
The second half saw Newcastle Town defend a bit more boldly which saw FC United score only one goal in the second half making the fulltime score 5 -1.
It is not difficult to see why FC United have only lost two league games all season on this performance, winning every other match except one which they drew one all.
